What kind of wire do you use? And where could I get it? And did you use an embroidery machine? If so, what kind and from where?
Sorry so many questions! I'm trying to find the easiest way to make my first plushy pony, yet I still want it to end up like this. But this looks amazing!

For this one I ended up using craft wire because I was out of pipe cleaners, but pipecleaners work best. They make the plush a lot softer then the wire. I usualy just get it from the dollar store. I did use an embroidery machine, I have a Janome Memorycraft 9700.
