A jointed Twilight Sparkle, made for a friend for their birthday C:

She is 11 inches tall and made completely of minky. Her eyes and cutie marks are machine embroidered and she has a plastic joint in her neck.

She's awesome, as usual! If you don't mind telling me (which it's fine if you don't want to- trade secrets and all), did you put wire in her mane to keep it up close to her head like that? Or is that just something minky does? I'm considering starting to use that in conjunction with my regular fleece, so I was curious. Speaking of which, I really like her mane! I don't think I ever mentioned this before, but I'm also blown away by how you get such a great shape in their heads.

I don't put any wire in it, but it sits pretty close to her head with the darts I put in it. I also sew a small part of the front, and the corners on the sides just to make sure it doesn't come up.
